This museum shows the history and development of the maintenance units of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers of the Royal Dutch Army. It shows the equipment, tools and methods used in the maintenance from 1939 until today. There are many types of vehicles on display that are maintained by the regiment. We also have a number of recovery vehicles and recovery tanks and a number of mobile workshop vehicles. We have an extensive library with documentation of all equipment and vehicles maintained by our regiment. This is important for everyone - including civilians - who are in possession of military vehicles. Special attention is paid to operations outside the Netherlands, as in Indonesia, South- Middle- and East Asia, Africa and the Balkans. The museum has a reception room with a coffee corner where videos can be shown. The location is in the middle of the country, approximately 16 km east of Utrecht.
